Le Conseil des Echansons de France
Renovated after 1950, the ancient wine cellars were used for a time for wine storage by the Eiffel Tower's restaurant before becoming the Wine Museum and since 1984 have been in the ownership of the «Conseil des Echansons de France».The Council, founded in 1954, is dedicateded to the defence and promotion of the finest french wines. To this end, the Council organises many prestigious events throughout France, abroad and here at the Museum.Around the world, the Council unites several thousand professionals and wine-lovers who promote the "savoir-faire" and quality for which French wines are renowned throughout the globe.
