The International Federation of Wine Brotherhoods
is an umbrella organisation for more than 100 wine Brotherhoods across the
world. The Federation was created in 1964 and aims to
promote and defend fine wines. Its headquarters is the Wine Museum in Paris.
Organisations wishing to join the Federation should be nominated by two associations which are current members. In 2002, the Commensale du Luberon organised the 39th Congress. From May 23 - 27,2003. In 2003, The 40th Congress took place in Slovenia. The 41th Congress in expected in Barcelona in May 2004. |
